Our Panelists:

Carly Ziff is Manager of Licensing for Film, TV, and Advertising at BMG in the Synch Licensing Department in New York where she handles the negotiation of synchs for the company’s roster in both domestic and international film and television shows and international commercials. Carly graduated with a degree in Music Business from the Bandier Program for Music and the Entertainment Industries at Syracuse University.  Prior to joining BMG full time, she has had experience at Shapiro Bernstein Music Publishing and Sony/ATV. 

 

At BMG, Carly is involved in the synchronization and licensing of the company's roster for NBC, CBS, Netflix, Vice, Spotify, Telemundo, Univision, HBO Latin, and various film projects, as well as international commercials for H&M, Volvo, Loka, and Banco Santander, among others. 

Stephen Bolles is a specialist in music and sync licensing with over a decade of experience in the music industry. Stephen’s early interest in the industry was shaped by music journalism and radio DJing. A job at an indie label and distributor opened the door to working in sync, where he was able to help the company significantly grow its revenue from music licensing, landing placements with Apple, CBS, Showtime, Netflix, and many others. Stephen also worked as a freelance music supervisor at this time, taking on projects from HBO, Stitch Fix, and Nickelodeon.

 

In 2018, Stephen joined Universal Music Enterprises’ Film & TV Music team where he provides creative sync services for master recordings controlled by the Universal Music Group, spanning all associated labels. His placements include projects for American Express, Citibank, Dodge, Walmart, and others.

Isabel Arissó is a Midwestern native who made her way to the Big Apple for college and never looked back. She currently works as Director, Synchronization at Concord Music Publishing where she heads up creative pitching for advertising & brand partnerships. Prior to joining Concord, Isabel worked at BMG, Imagem, and a prominent boutique entertainment law firm. She graduated from Fordham University with a degree in film, and in her free time can be found hosting trivia events around NYC, playing shuffleboard, and hanging with her rad cat Dolly.
Nicole Sanzio is a music industry authority in media licensing, rights and clearances. As the owner of InDigi Music -- and its parent company, Multi Music & Media Group, LLC. Nicole has independently placed various styles of music and compositions in film, network television, and other multi-media platforms. Her accomplishments as a business savvy entrepreneur and independent contractor has made her a sought after expert within the fast-changing industries of licensing / publishing, royalties and copyright.
 
Nicole's independent music placements read like a “what’s hot” list in Film and Television programming, among them: Universal Pictures Despicable Me 2, Fast & Furious (4, 5 and 6), Contraband, Paramount Pictures Paranormal: The Marked Ones, Warner Bros. Geostorm, and Mickey and the Bear which recently premiered at  this year's SXSW 2019 Film Festival. On the television side, CBS’s NCIS: Los Angeles, FOX’s Empire, OWN’s Greenleaf, AMC's Ride with Norman Reedus, Showtime’s Ray Donovan and Shameless, Netflix’s House of Cards, Hemlock Grove and Last Chance U, Amazon’s Hand of God, Hulu’s East Los High, and YouTube Red’s series from Lionsgate TV, “Step Up: High Water” and Wayne. On the Reality TV side, E! Networks Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Vh1’s Love & Hip Hop, WWE Total Divas, Bravo’s The Real Housewives and Married To Medicine, etc. Her company has also secured a hefty list of other music placements on TLC, PBS, USA Network, Logo, Lifetime, Nickelodeon, MTV, MTVU, MTV Tr3s, and Animal Planet.
Rachel Lafranconi has been working on the Soundtracks and Licensing team at RCA Records for 5 years. After graduating from DePaul University in Chicago, she moved to New York and immediately started working with an experiential marketing agency. While she was able to interact with the New York music scene in this role, she knew that she wanted to get more involved and eventually made the jump from events to working at RCA Records.
 
She now pitches and clears RCA artists for Film, TV, Commercials, and a variety of other medias.
